Knitted Blankets for NICU
Families in NICU are staying warm and cosy with knitted blankets generously donated by The Otago University Medical Students’ knitting group.
The students knit as a way to relax in a quiet social setting, as well as during tutorials and study groups. In addition to the blankets, they have also taken on the challenge of learning to knit singlets for babies in NICU.
The woollen cot blankets and singlets are greatly appreciated by families in NICU.
