Returned and Services Association (RSA)

On this page

Every day the RSA movement helps all current and former service personnel and their families get the support they need.

    Staff

Most of the RSA team are ex-servicemen and women who have a shared experience and understanding with those they support.

    Programme

Support for current and former service personnel and their families

RSA supports all service personnel, ex-serving and their families, including ex-commonwealth services and traditional allies (e.g. USA). You don't have to be an RSA member or have served overseas to get advice and support from us.

    For 24/7 confidential support spanning both telephone and face-to-face support, call 0800 NZDF4U (0800 693 348).

A local support person can connect with you and your family, help you to establish and access the support you need and stay with you during the process, if you would like.

    RSA provides support for:

    Health and Wellbeing

Long term physical, mental and social health is important to maintaining a good quality of life for anyone who is in service or has served.

    Financial Support

If you are in need of financial support, you can apply for assistance by contacting your local RSA.

    Career Transition

When it's time for a soldier, sailor or airman to leave the military, there are steps they can take to make this life-changing transition more successful.
