    PIACT's purpose is to see an integrated Pacific community on an equal footing with mainstream New Zealand while retaining our cultural integrity.

    Budgeting and help with debt

    PIACT offer financial advice support. In cooperation with Jubilee, PIACT have several workshops to help the Pasifica community in terms of financial advice support such as Jubilee Budgeting Clinic, First Home Buyer Workshop.

    Education and training
    • Kew Pacific Early Learning Centre, an enterprise of PIACT. A centre that provides a learning environment that is rich in Pasifika language, culture, and identity. Cultural values such as love, spirituality, respect, and tautua (service) are strongly reflected through their curriculum. 

    • PIACT offers a range of community workshops, programmes, and events - such as NCEA, PowerUp, The Adolescent Brain, Cultural Competency, and more. To keep up to date with what is happening, register your details and be added to the community texting database.
    Pacific People
    Whānau Ora
    • Whanau Ora is a goal setting programme for Pacific Island families to break down the barriers to achieve their goals. Helping achieve potentials. 

    • Community Linkage worker provides the links between Pacifica Island community into appropriate agencies and services for their needs.

    • Hosts the annual Pacific Island Sports Tournament, encouraging physical activity and creating a space for all generations and families to participate and enjoy the day. 
    • Health and Fitness sessions - ZUMBA - Tuesday nights at 6.30pm-7.30pm. Gold Coin Donation.
    • Fitness (free) - Tuesday morning 10.00 am - 1.00 pm
    Community nursing
    • Pacific Island nurse weekly walk-in clinic each Tuesday and Thursday from 10.30am - 1.30pm. 
    • Monthly nurse-led diabetes clinic. Walk in, appointments preferred. 
    • Monthly nurse-led smear clinic. Appointments required. 
    • Regular hearing service clinic. Appointments required. 
    • Our community Linkage Worker links the Pacific Island community into appropriate agencies and services of their need. They also work alongside the Pacific Island nurses to support, advocate, and empower for the betterment of their wellbeing.  
    Pregnancy and parenting
    Distributor of the Pepi-Pod - a safe sleeping space for newborn babies.
