Nutrition Connection offers specialist nutrition assessment and advice for a wide range of dietary and health issues for people of all ages. Appointments are available for anyone in New Zealand online or from two North Auckland locations.
We are passionate about helping people learn how to eat well for better health, whether you want to lose weight, manage nagging health issues, through to medical nutrition for complex health issues. We understand that people are bombarded with conflicting health and diet advice, and we aim to simplify and personalise nutrition information for your unique needs.

Staff
Anna Sloan (NZ Registered Dietitian) has 20+ years experience and uses a holistic approach which is complemented by scientific research. She approaches nutrition on an individual level, taking into account not just a person’s health and wellness concerns, but also their budget, lifestyle and time constraints.
Anna is particularly interested in digestive issues, allergies and food intolerances, along with helping people make real changes towards long term positive relationships with food. General family and adult/older adult health, and the management of chronic conditions through nutritional therapy and positive lifestyle changes is another of her strengths. Read more about Anna here
Hazel Oxford (NZ Registered Dietitian) has 12 years experience in medical nutrition. Hazel has experience in a range of areas including complex medical nutritional management, malnutrition, renal, inflammatory bowel disease, cancer and weight management.
Rebecca McCarroll (NZ Registered Dietitian) has worked for the NZ National Heart Foundation, Auckland and Waitemata District Health Boards before a long stint as Clinical Director and Professional Teaching Fellow for the University of Auckland Nutrition and Dietetics Programme. Rebecca has a passion for Women’s Health, and is an expert in weight loss/management, cardiovascular disease, Type 2 Diabetes and sports nutrition. She also enjoys helping people with allergies and intolerances find their food freedom.

We may also have other dietitians to help keep our waiting-times low- you can be confident that any dietitian working with Nutrition Connection clients has at least 10 years experience, including hospital experience with complex medical requirements.

- Initial appointments (60mins) - $185
- Follow up (30mins) - $90
- Follow up (45mins) - $145
- Zoom appointments -As above
- Email questions: $50 per 15mins
Health insurance: your health insurance plan may reimburse you for some or all of your appointment cost. Please review your policy to determine whether you're eligible for cover.
