Jubilee Budget Advisory Service

On this page

Jubilee Budget Advisory Service Ltd is a non profit charitable company owned by the Jubilee Christian Charitable Trust. The Trust was set up in 1989 to provide interest free mortgages to help borrowers avoid high interest rates plaguing New Zealand at the time, assisting to pay off debt early and be released debt free.

The budget service evolved at the same time to complement the Trust's work to provide budgeting advice and education, to empower those to be good stewards with their own finances and live a life less complicated with no or low debt.

The budget service became a company in 1998 and today helps hundreds of individuals and families every year by assisting and working alongside them. We are a free and confidential service and funded by various Government departments and local organisations.

Our aim is to empower the client – not take over and control their finances. It is important that we share our knowledge and resources to better equip them. This not only encourages the clients but provides a positive impact to both their families and their communities.

We are affiliated to both the New Zealand Federation of Family Budgeting Services and Christian Budgeting New Zealand. Our budget advisors are trained and experienced in all areas of finance to provide clients with a professional, dedicated service.
