From humble beginnings to one of Aotearoa’s leading healthcare providers

Healthvision was established in 1999 by Sue Doherty, a registered nurse who identified a need for quality and responsive home-based care services. Today, Healthvision is still family-owned and has expanded nationwide.

Despite our rapid growth, Healthvision continues to support grassroots action and values community-based and family-orientated healthcare.

By combining services from our home support, nursing, health and wellness, and rehabilitation teams, Healthvision have the opportunity to deliver better and more efficient healthcare, which results in better outcomes for our service users. We have positioned ourselves to provide a more integrated care approach so service users can maximise their wellbeing and independence.

We are passionate about making a meaningful difference in the day-to-day lives of others. We work closely with our service users, their family and whānau, to best understand and support their needs; whether short or long term, 24 hours per day to a few hours per week.

Our partnership approach with health practitioners delivers better services to service users. We offer practice nurse training programmes and share latest best-practice information and care innovations.

At Healthvision, we provide the exceptional service we would want to experience ourselves and for our loved ones.
