    Ear Health Waitaki provides Otology Nurse clinics to the Waitaki District as a private service 5 days a week. 
    Our experienced team of two nurses aims to provide the community with a great service accessible to all. We pride ourselves on delivering high standards of professional care and building great rapport with our clients.

    We offer the following services to help you maintain healthy ears:

    • Examine under a microscope and remove earwax,debris or foreign bodies with the option of gentle microsuction or micro tools when required. 
    • Otoendoscopy, video and photography as needed
    • Ear health maintenance for adults and children (normally over 12 months)
    • Education to help you maintain healthy ears. 

    Staff

    Vanessa: Otology (Ear Health) Nurse.
    Since qualifying as a Registered General Nurse (RGN) in 1994 in the UK, Vanessa has gained experience in various areas including Emergency Nursing, HDU, Orthopaedics, Military Nursing, PRIME Nursing and Primary Care. She then trained as an Ear Health Nurse in 2010 in Tauranga and now runs the clinic in Ōamaru. 

    Sue: Otology (Ear Health) Nurse. Sue qualified as a nurse in 1995. Over the years of her career, Sue has worked within Starship Hospital (Children), Occupational Health, Orthopaedics, Elderly Care, Practice Nursing, and Reflexology. More recently, Sue has worked as a Sleep Nurse and now as an Ear Health Nurse for 2 years.
