CanTeen Aotearoa

On this page

Around 4,200 rangatahi / young people across Aotearoa are impacted by cancer each year, whether it’s their own diagnosis, or that of an immediate family member. CanTeen’s mission is to make sure they don’t have to face cancer alone.

Our services are free of charge and available for rangatahi aged 13-24 who are:

    • diagnosed with cancer or in survivorship
    • dealing with a parent or sibling’s cancer
    • coping with the death of a parent or sibling

    CanTeen services include:

    • One to one therapy and support
    • Camps and events across Aotearoa and online
    • Leadership opportunities
    • An online community (web & app) providing peer support and counselling for rangatahi and parents at canteenconnect.org/
