On this page

Artsenta is a community based art studio for people using mental health and addiction services.

Artsenta was founded on the belief that the arts, creativity and self-expression are an essential part of every person's emotional, physical and spiritual well-being, and that those in the mental health community should be given the opportunity to realise their creative potential.

Artsenta is free with materials and support provided by skilled tutors.

    Programme

    Artsenta - Dunedin

We cater for people who like to work in all sorts of ways. We have group activities that happen at set times, and there is plenty of space and time to do your own thing. Sometimes people are very clear about what they want to do, others find it takes a while to know how to get started. Staff are here to help you develop a creative plan.

Artsenta always has a lot of different art and music projects on the go.  You can come to Artsenta and get started on a project that interests you or you can enjoy some inspiraton and guidance by joining in on our regular weekly sessions. These cover a range of art related activities and take place at 11am or 1pm each day. Attendance is free at Artsenta.
