Proposed disposal of land at Mutton Town Road, Clyde

Content is brought to you by:

Southern District Health Board is proposing to sell approximately 3008m2 of its land at Dunstan Hospital fronting Mutton Town Road, Clyde, to the Central Otago District Council, to accommodate the road realignment of Mutton Town Road to correct historic construction errors of the existing road. This land is designated for road and will be acquired by Council under the Public Works Act.

Any proposal to sell or transfer land set aside for health purposes must be approved by the Minister of Health.  Before approving any sale the Minister must be satisfied that the DHB has taken into account the views of the community.

Southern DHB is therefore seeking submissions from its resident population on the proposed disposal of this land. Further information on the proposal will be made available soon.
