Celebrate Te Wiki o te Reo Māori - Māori Language week 2023

Invitation to celebrate Te Wiki o te Reo Māori - Māori Language week 2023

Please join us to celebrate Te Wiki o te Reo Māori, to connect, have fun and to feel great, nau mai haere mai.

Come along to listen and/or participate in waiata.

When: Monday 11 September and Thursday 14 September

Time: 12.30pm to 1.00pm

Where: Wakari Hospital main foyer

A group of mental health staff who have started singing waiata will be present to lead the way.

There will be lyrics for people to use, we welcome all te reo Māori abilities, and you’re welcome to bring a guitar or other instrument to support the waiata.

      He aha te mea nui o te ao? He tangata, he tangata, he tangata!

     What is the most important thing in the world? It is people, it is people, it is people!
