Teddy Bear Hospital Community Day

Event date:
to

Bring your kids and their sick teddies to see our teddy doctors and dentists.

This is a free event which is run by University of Otago medical and dental students and aims to create a positive medical experience for young children so that some of the anxiety, fear and confusion experienced when visiting the doctor or dentist can be reduced.

As well as teddy doctor and dentist consultations we have performers, games, face painting, a sausage sizzle, a bouncy castle, and the St John Ambulance!

The activities provided at the Community Day are best suited to children aged 3 to 8 years however we allow registrations for children of all ages.

Spaces are limited so book your consultation by visiting our website. Te Reo Māori consultations are available.
