Free confidential youth health services for ages 12 to 25 years
Te Punaka Oraka - Public Health Nursing provide advice and support:
- To schools on health issues
- To parents/caregivers of young people
- To young people at school and community youth health clinics
- Individual youth well health assessment, education and health promotion, prevention, and protection
- Coordinated health care across school, home and other agencies
- Home visiting
- Communicable disease/ immunisation advice and support
- School youth health clinics
- School based year 9 assessments / alternative education assessments (decile 4 schools)
- Rural community sexual health clinics
- Contraception
- Student health assessments
- Access and support to other services
