Women's Self Defence Network - Wāhine Toa

    Women's Self Defence Network - Wāhine Toa is a network of trained and accredited self defence teachers educating women and girls with the skills and strategies to keep safe.

    Most courses are run through schools and other community organisations.

    The network works predominately with women. We have teachers from a range of cultural and ethnic backgrounds and are able to work with gender and sexual minorities.

    Age: 7 years and over.

    Region: All of New Zealand. Teachers can travel to any area, dependent on availability.

    Description: Courses are flexible and tailored to the following groups' needs:-

    • Education providers, Community groups, Workplaces. 
    • Women and Girls - Girls, Teenagers, Mothers and Daughters, Adults, Disability and Tertiary.
