    Peke Waihanga - Artificial Limb Service is a specialist healthcare provider that manufactures high technology medical devices, mainly artificial limbs, for individual patients with an integrated rehabilitation and coordination of care service.

    Centres

    We have Centres in Auckland, Tauranga, Hamilton, Wellington, Christchurch, and Dunedin. Centres are open 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM.

    Regional clinics

    Our Centres run clinics in a number of provincial centres in Whangarei, Kaitaia, New Plymouth, Rotorua, Gisborne, Hawkes Bay, Manawatu, Wairarapa, Blenheim, Nelson, Greymouth, and Invercargill.

    National Office

    Peke Waihanga - Artificial Limb Service's National Office is located in Wellington, running corporate affairs, including advice to the Minister of Social Development on matters relating to artificial limbs and similar devices. Please direct all enquiries for service to your nearest Limb Centre.

    Activities

    Peke Waihanga - Artificial Limb Service provides individualised services to rehabilitate its patients with the aim of attaining the best possible quality of life and levels of independence, within the wider context of their families and communities. Rehabilitation is achieved through the construction and fitting of artificial limbs, providing ancillary services, and carrying out research and development.
