    Mental Health Navigator

The Mental Health Navigator Service helps clients in Invercargill navigate their way through mental health services, including Southern DHB services and other community mental health organisations. We also offer cultural support for the keyworker of patients to ensure the patient is looked after in a culturally sensitive and safe way.

    Brief Intervention Service

On Tuesdays a psychologist runs a Walk-In Brief Intervention service through the Nursing Clinic at PIACT, between 10.30am and 1.30pm.

This service provides counselling and support for adults who are experiencing mild mental health issues including depression and anxiety. The aim is to manage and improve wellbeing in this setting, however, the psychologist may refer clients to secondary services, if necessary.
