    Description:

    Ōtepoti Collective Against Sexual Abuse (ŌCASA) provides support to survivors who have experienced sexual violence, whether it has occurred recently or in the past.  We also provide services to all supporting friends or whanau who have experienced sexual violence.  Our services include:

    • Telephone support and crisis line
    • Face-to-face counselling for survivors of sexual violence, their friends and whānau
    • Crisis social work services for survivors of sexual violence, their friends and whānau
    • Information, advocacy and support for those who choose to report to the police, are going to court, seeking medical advice, or whatever the survivor chooses is the best path at the time
    • Sexual violence prevention programmes for students and youth
    • Education for community groups
    • Consultation services for organisations wanting to develop policies and procedures relating to incidents of sexual violence
    • Customised training packages tailored to various environments
    • Awareness/fundraising events and project development.

    All counselling, support work, social work and advocacy services are FREE.

    During office hours, survivors and support people are welcome to come in to the office for information, resources and support.  We hold a safe-space for those coming in to use our services or to just sit and have a warm drink.  We maintain a resource library for people to browse and borrow books from.
