Quality and Leadership programme

The Quality and Leadership Programme (QLP) is a professional development pathway within midwifery.

What is the Quality and Leadership Programme?

Quality and Leadership Programme (QLP) is a midwifery framework that encourages and financially rewards the professional development of midwives and the additional portfolios and projects you may be involved with.

The QLP provides a mechanism through which to encourage, value and financially recognize the professional development of midwives and the additional roles many undertake.

It is aimed at assisting and supporting midwives to further develop their knowledge and skills and promote quality care for women and babies.

The Southern region is committed to supporting and encouraging your progression through the Quality and Leadership Program (QLP).
